PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical expansion valve that allows replacement of a prior mechanical expansion valve without impairing operation stability, durability, reliability and the like, and can prevent a cost increase, enlargement, an increase in consumption energy, and the like as far as possible.SOLUTION: A refrigerant inflow port 21 is provided on a lower right side surface 14 of a valve body 10, a refrigerant outflow port 22 is provided on a left side surface 13 near a vertical central part of the valve body 10, a valve chamber 24 having a valve seat 25 with a valve port 26 is provided between the refrigerant inflow port 21 and the refrigerant outflow port 22, a conduit pipe connecting inflow port 31 and a conduit pipe connecting outflow port 32 are provided at the right and left of an upper part of the valve body 10, a rod-like valve body 30 having a valve body part 30a for opening and closing the valve port 26 and a valve body drive source 50 for moving up/down the valve body 30 in an opening and closing direction of the valve port 26 are provided, and the valve body 30 and the valve body drive source 50 are disposed obliquely upward on a lower front surface 11 side of the valve body 10. |
