PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase difference detecting device capable of promptly and accurately detecting phase differences, a tracking error detecting device, and an optical disk device.SOLUTION: Each of a phase difference detecting device, a tracking error detecting device, and an optical disk device has a delay portion 29 giving a delay of the integral multiple of a reference clock period to at least one of a first signal or a second signal; an error amount computing portion 30 which obtains a plurality of error amount corresponding to a plurality of delay amount by repeating processing for calculating the error amount which is the sum total of differences between first data included in the first signal and second data included in the second signal, while changing the delay amount; a minimum value detecting portion 33 for detecting first delay amount when a minium value of the error amount is detected; an interpolation coefficient computing portion 34 for obtaining an interpolation coefficient of a Lagrange interpolation system, by using error amount corresponding to at least three delay amount; and a phase difference generating portion 35 for calculating shift amount at the minimum value of the error amount to calculate phase differences. |
