PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a data recording/reproducing device which is not under the influence of heat and vibration, in a data library device.SOLUTION: In a data library device that manages plural recording media, and includes plural data recording/reproducing devices for recording/reproducing data to/from the recording media, a control unit for controlling the device, a heat detection unit, and a vibration detection unit are provided. The control unit collects thermal information from the heat detection unit and vibration information from the vibration detection unit, and selects, from the collected thermal information and vibration information, a data recording/reproducing device which is not under the influence of heat and vibration. |
