PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device that can dynamically change the setting of a channel device provided in the information processing device.SOLUTION: A channel device 11 is shared by plural virtual machines 4. A selective channel definition control unit 9 performs control of the channel device 11, on the basis of instructions of setting for the channel device 11 including configuration information from a CPU 2, such that one virtual machine 4 among the plural virtual machines 4 is being selected and the other virtual machines 4 are being stopped.
