[Problem] To provide a method and a device for coating an object to be coated, such as a high-added-value LED or LED component, with a coating which is difficult to handle such as an unstable slurry with which sedimentation is extreme, or a coating which reacts at normal temperature and thickens over time. [Solution] Production can be carried out while the amount of coating is controlled, by automatically performing measurements using a high-precision measuring instrument placed in an atmosphere which will not substantially affect the measurement, at least prior to coating an object to be coated with a coating material. As a result, high-quality production on a mass-production scale can be achieved while the production costs are kept to a low level. |
