PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surge suppression circuit which suppresses external energy such as extraneous surges thereby preventing failures of a light source lighting device with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A surge suppression circuit part 111-1 includes a first discharge part LS(1). The first discharge part LS(1) is formed in a connection pattern 161C and includes: a first land L(1) having a protruding shape that protrudes from the connection pattern 161C; and a second land L(2) which is formed at a position of an earth pattern 161E which faces the first land L(1), has a protruding shape protruding from the earth pattern 161E to the first land L(1), and has a top part 12 of the protruding shape spaced a predetermined gap G(1) from a top part 11 of the protruding shape of the first land L(1).
