PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolution type electric work machine in which a brake mechanism is compactly provided on a speed reducer continuously provided on the output shaft of a revolution electric motor, and which is not damaged when subjected to an overload.SOLUTION: In the revolution type electric work vehicle, a revolving superstructure 3 is arranged on a travel gear 2 in a revolvable manner, the revolving superstructure 3 being revolvable with the drive of an electric motor 25. A speed reducer 26 is connected in linkage with an output shaft 25a of the electric motor 25 so that power is transmitted from an output shaft 44 of the speed reducer 26 to a ring gear 49 fixed to the travel gear 2. On the midway of a power transmission passage for the speed reducer 26, a brake mechanism 46 and a torque limiter 39 are provided. |
