A drive mechanism of a manipulator bar of a hot rolling mill comprises a bar, two beams, racks, gears, a shaft driven by a motor. The first beam is connected to the bar by a spherical joint with a finger, which allows two independent rotational movements around the vertical and transverse horizontal axes, and is located in two spherical joints allowing its longitudinal movement and rotation. The second beam is connected to the bar through an additional link with two vertical rotary joints at the ends. The beam is located in two spherical bearings with possibility of its longitudinal movement and turning relative thereto. The gears have a rounded shape of a working surface of teeth and are mounted on a common shaft, which is located in two spherical bearings, one of which fixes the shaft against axial displacement, and the shaft itself is connected by an elastic coupling to the motor. |
