PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic member by which the occurrence of C-set images can be further reliably suppressed.SOLUTION: The electrophotographic member has a surface layer containing a modified polysiloxane having a structure represented by formula (1). In the formula (1), G represents a divalent group containing an ethylene oxide chain represented by (-O-CH-), and L represents a polysiloxane having at least SiO(Q) units or SiO(T) units.
