PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bacterial cellulose composite having high strength, flexibility and thermal dimensional stability which is a safe material since any organic solvent is not used and can be produced by a few processes, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A water-soluble polymer as a second substance is added to a bacterial cellulose produced by an acetic acid bacterium to produce a cellulose composite. Specifically, the bacterial cellulose suspended in a solution and having a fine fiber form and the water-soluble polymer suspended in a solution are combined to produce the bacterial cellulose composite. |
