PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which a contact area to a PEG catheter is large, a strong connection is formed, and the operation of connection and release is simple.SOLUTION: The connector includes: a tubular male connector member 4 in which a second tube 2 is installed in a rear end, and a distal end is inserted in the connection end of a first tube; a lock auxiliary member 5 in which a side edge projection 11 is formed along both side edges of a slit 10 in an axial direction, and that is installed at an outside of the first tube; and a lock member 6 that has a body part 6a in which an inner circumferential surface groove 18 of an axial direction is formed, and connection engaging parts 19 and 20 that releasably engage with a male connector member and a lock auxiliary member, and that is installed in an outside of the lock auxiliary member. At least one of the outer edge of the side edge projection and the inner circumferential edge of the inner circumferential surface groove inclines so that a space between the outer edges or a width of the inner circumferential edge expands toward a distal side from the connection end of the first tube. The lock auxiliary member is transformed through the touching of the inner circumferential surface groove and the side edge projection along with the fitting of the lock member and the lock auxiliary member, and the interval of a slit narrows. |
