PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing for a compressor, having high dimensional accuracy while being easily manufactured, excellent heat resistance, low resistance, low frictionality, low abrasion resistance, load bearing and creep resistance, giving low rotational torque; and to provide a compressor equipped with the sliding bearing.SOLUTION: The sliding bearing 1 supports a rolling member for driving a compression mechanism of the compressor in a manner allowing rotation. The sliding bearing 1 is constituted that a sintered metal substrate 2 includes a sliding surface of a resin layer 3 composed of a resin composition containing an aromatic polyether ketone based resin as a base resin; wherein the resin layer 3 is overlayed and integrally disposed on the surface of the sintered metal substrate 2 with the thickness of 0.1-0.7 mm by injection molding. Also, the resin composition contains a fibrous filler 4, and in the resin layer 3, the fibrous filler 4 is oriented so that the length direction of fibers intersects at an angle of 45-90 ° with the sliding direction of the sliding bearing. |
