PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of detecting a distance between a bottom section of a loaded heated object and a burner without upsetting the heated object from a supporting member even when the heated object having an arbitrary weight is placed on the supporting member, controlling fire power of the burner according to the detected distance, and efficiently heating the heated object while suppressing spurting of burner flame to a side part of the heated object.SOLUTION: This heating cooker includes the burners for heating the heated object, and distance detecting means for detecting a vertical distance between the bottom section of the heated object and the burner. The heating cooker further includes moving amount detecting means movable in the vertical direction to detect a moving amount. The heating cooker furthermore includes rod members 42 connected with the moving means, contact sections 41 energized upward to upper end sections 42a of the rod members 42 and movable to the rod members 42, and movement detecting means 46 detecting the moving amount to the bar members 42, of the contact sections 41, and a gas flow rate of a combustion gas supplied to the burner is changed according to the detected moving amount. |
