PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology estimating the temperature of an electric motor by a low calculation cost.SOLUTION: A temperature estimating device 10 for estimating the winding temperature T of a motor 11 includes: a three phase-dq converting portion 45; a current control portion 43; a rotation speed computing portion 46; and a winding temperature estimating portion 47. The winding temperature estimating portion 47 computes the winding temperature T on the basis of a q-axis voltage equation of a motor 11, a d-axis current Id, a q-axis current Iq, a q-axis voltage command value Vq, and a rotation speed ωre which consider linear temperature dependence characteristics of a resistance value of a winding and linear temperature dependence characteristics of an inductance value of the winding and ignore a derivative term. |
