PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminator high in irradiation efficiency, lightweight, conveniently installable, hardly damageable, and inexpensive, and provide a lighting system using the illuminator.SOLUTION: Provided is an illuminator 200 having a fluorescent tube 210 and a cover 100 for covering the fluorescent tube 210, wherein the cover 100 is equipped with a base material 110 at least being translucent and a light reflection layer 120, provided on an outer surface of the base material 110, for reflecting the light irradiated from the fluorescent tube 210 to penetrate the base material 110. |
