What is detailed and described is a process for producing a filter membrane (1), wherein at least one filler (3) and, optionally, at least one further additive are added to a polymeric membrane material (2) as starting material for membrane production, and the membrane material (4) including the filler (3) and optionally the further additive is extruded to give a polymer film (5) laden with the filler (3) and optionally the further additive, and the polymer film (5) is then especially stretched mono- and/or biaxially for pore formation.
