PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collecting device having a simple structure, convenient to use, and suitable for a self-propelled vacuum cleaner.SOLUTION: A dust collecting device includes: a dust collecting container having an opening and storing dust; a cover portion pivoted at the dust collecting container in an opening and closing manner to cover the opening portion of the dust collecting container; a locking portion for releasably locking the dust collecting container and the cover portion in a manner to maintain a closed state of the cover portion; and an urging member for urging the cover portion in an opening direction. The cover portion being closed, covers the opening portion of the dust collecting container, and turns to an angle larger than 90 degrees when the locking of the locking portion is released. |
