PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chassis dynamometer which eliminates the need of differential arithmetic processing and is excellent in responsiveness.SOLUTION: In a chassis dynamometer X, a control part for controlling the driving of a dynamometer M connected to a drive roller for mounting a tire of a test vehicle thereon includes means 1 for calculating an estimated torque of a tire from a detection torque TD and a detection revolution speed ωD of the dynamometer M, means 2 for calculating estimation drive force FT of the tire, means 3 for calculating acceleration force F of the test tire, means 4 for calculating the acceleration a of the dynamometer M, means 5 for calculating acceleration force mD*a of the drive roller, means 6 for generating a torque command TLE including a travel resistance torque and an electric inertia torque calculated by multiplying difference between the acceleration force mD*a of the drive roller and the tire estimation drive force FT by a radius RD of the drive roller, and means 7 for controlling current D of the dynamometer M on the basis of the torque command TLE. |
