PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow easy confirmation of the connection of a connection pipe to a flange member.SOLUTION: A remote control operation type drain plug device using a release wire includes an operation part guide part consisting of a flange member which has a cylinder part inserted into a through-hole of a mounted part through its surface side, including a guide face for an operation button to be moved thereon forward/backward, and provided with a male screw therearound, and a flange formed on the upper part of the cylinder part, and a fastening nut which has a female screw to be threaded from the reverse side of the mounted part into the male screw of the cylinder part for holding the mounted part together with the flange, the connection pipe internally holding a mechanism part which transmits the forward/backward movement of the operation button to the release wire, and connectable to the operation part guide part at its lower side, and a connection pipe connector for connecting the connection pipe to the operation part guide part. When there is a failure in connecting the connection pipe to the operation part guide part, the forward/backward movement of the operation button in the flange member is restricted to preclude the operation button from selecting a drain plug cover to be opened/closed. |
