PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof switch capable of securing high waterproofness, preventing separation of an operation knob, and improving assemblability.SOLUTION: A waterproof switch 1 includes: a switch case to be attached to a panel, and storing a fixed contact point; a knob base (a movable member) 7 held so as to be displaceable relative to the switch case, the knob base displacing a movable contact point; an operation knob 4 coupled to the knob base 7; and a seal member 9 for preventing intrusion of water from between the operation knob 4 and the knob base 7. The operation knob 4 is provided with a peripheral edge 4B for holding a part 9a to be held of the seal member 9 between itself and the knob base 7. The knob base 7 and the seal member 9 are provided with recessed and projected fitting parts (a recess 9c and a projection 7f) at positions offset by &egr; from an edge of the peripheral edge 4B of the operation knob 4 to a push-in direction of the operation knob 4, respectively. |
