TRANSPOSED STRUCTURE FOR CYCLIC DELAY DIVERSITY (CDD) BASED PRECODING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate applying cyclic delay diversity (CDD) and precoding to wireless communications.SOLUTION: Data vectors to be transmitted to a number of receive antennas of a receiver can be transformed to a virtual antenna domain. Following precoding, CDD can be applied to this domain in order to allow the advantages of precoding to remain though CDD is applied. In this regard, resultant signals can be transmitted without radiating transmission energy into null spaces unreachable by receiving devices.
