RANDOM ACCESS METHOD AND SYSTEM, TERMINAL AND BASE STATION EQUIPMENT FOR MULTI-CARRIER SYSTEM

A random access method for a multi-carrier system comprises: a base station receiving a random access preamble sent by a terminal; and the base station carrying identification information for the terminal to identify the random access response thereof in a sent random access response in a scenario where the base station uses a random access radio network temporary identity (RA-RNTI) to indicate the random access response. The method meets the requirements of a new version protocol to the random access of an MTA in addition to keeping backward compatibility, makes both a terminal which supports the MTA and a terminal which does not support the MTA accurately achieve a random access process in the application of being compatible with cross-carrier scheduling and local carrier scheduling, and has an important value to the project realization of a new version communication system.
