<p>The gas burner has an inner burner (2) arranged on a burner base (1). The inner burner has a gas outlet opening (2a) forming an inner flame circle. An annular outer burner (3) has a gas outlet opening (3a) on its inner peripheral ring for forming a central flame circle and another gas outlet opening (3b) on its outer peripheral ring for forming an outer flame circle. The outer burner has two coaxial gas annular spaces (4a,4b) spaced apart from each other. The gas outlet openings of the central and outer flame circles open in the inner and outer lying gas annular spaces respectively. An independent claim is included for a method for operating a gas burner.</p> |
