PURPOSE: A surface defect-free steel sheet for a porcelain enamel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to restrain the chemical composition of a steel material within an appropriate range and use dissolved oxygen of a steel plate so as to prevent generation of bubble defect and fish-scale. CONSTITUTION: A surface defect-free steel sheet for porcelain enamel contains C of 0-0.005%, Mn of 0.1-0.5%, Si of 0-0.03%, Cr of 0.05~3.0%, Ti if 0-0.01%, Al of 0-0.03%, O of 0.02~0.1%, P of 0-0.03%, S of 0-0.03%, N of 0-0.005%, residual Fe and other inevitable impurities. |
