摘要 Combination comprises an adhesive element (1), which is heat-activatable by electromagnetic induction, and extends in a plane, and an electromagnetic inductor (2). The geometry of the inductor and the adhesive element, and their arrangement, are mutually coordinated such that the effective value of magnetic flux density perpendicular to plane of magnetic field generated by the inductor in the plane at any point of the surface of adhesive element, is greater than 70%, which is 50% of maximum effective value of the magnetic flux density measured within the plane and perpendicular to the plane. An independent claim is also included for combining two surfaces with each other, comprising bonding using the heat-activatable adhesive element in the plane extending between both the surfaces, and heating the heat-activatable adhesive element using the electromagnetic inductor, preferably a non-linear inductor.
