PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine enabling a player to play a game as planned without causing a disadvantage to the player and making the player feel fatigued. SOLUTION: When game balls enter into start openings 105 and 120 during variable display of special symbols, game data is stored in special symbol reservation storage means 401 and 402, and a right of the variably display of special symbols is reserved as a holding ball. The game data includes unconfirmed game data that variation time varies according to the number of reservations of the right of the variably display of special symbols in the special symbol reservation storage means 401 and 402. Variation time calculating means 330 supposes that the variation time for the right of the variably display of special symbols obtaining the unconfirmed game data is the shortest variation time in the variation time decided based on the unconfirmed game data to calculate total variation time.
