PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively recovering rubber chips without disposing them, especially a method for continuously recovering the rubber chips when a trouble occurs in an automatic packaging machine of the rubber chips. SOLUTION: If the trouble occurs in the automatic packaging machine when rubber chips cut by a cutter are put on a belt conveyer and supplied to the automatic packaging machine, an out-system delivering dumper is opened to supply the rubber chips from a rubber chip accepting port to the upper left side on a staying conveyer. The rubber chips are conveyed to the right side of the staying conveyer (forward direction) and made to stay thereon. After the trouble of the automatic packaging machine is solved, the direction of the staying conveyer is reversed to convey the staying rubber chips to the left side (reverse direction) and return them from an inside-system outlet port into the system, thus providing the recovering method of the rubber chips characterized in such a manner.
