<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vivo indwelling stent which has high extension maintaining force after extension, is homogeneous on the whole without having deformation directivity and holds an elastic deformation property to the deformation of an embedded part. <P>SOLUTION: The stent 1 has a plurality of annular units 2 arrayed in an axial direction and a connection 3 part for connecting the respective adjacent annular units. The annular units 2 have a plurality of linear ring parts 4 extending in the axial direction of the stent 1 in the circumferential direction of the stent. Each linear ring part is extended in the circumferential direction and is reduced in an axial direction when extending the stent, and has a diameter reduction suppressing linear part 7 for regulating the deformation in the circumferential direction reducing direction of the linear ring part by being deformed to a diameter reduction suppressing form with spring elasticity in extension without obstructing the extension of the stent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
