发明名称 Development of molecular marker related to meat quantity in Hanwoo
摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A development of a molecular marker related to meat quantity is provided to identify meat quantity traits of the thickness of backfat in a Hanwoo(Korean beef) individual, and to early diagnose high quality Hanwoo. CONSTITUTION: A method for diagnosing meat quantity of Hanwoo using a molecular marker related to the thickness of backfat of Hanwoo is PCR-RFLP(Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism) analysis comprising a step of treating an amplified Hanwoo PON1(paraoxonase 1) gene with a BstE II restriction enzyme. The gene is amplified with primers in sequence numbers 2 and 3. A Hanwoo individual molecular marker(DNA marker) by substitution at a 231th base of the Hanwoo PON1 gene is detected by the method. The thickness of the backfat in Hanwoo is determined by analyzing SNP genotype(TT, CT, CC).</p>
