<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which calibrates the gradation characteristics and chromaticity of a display device, at low cost, without impairing accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: Image signals Ri, Gi, and Bi outputted from a computer 20 are inputted to a display panel 11 via a matrix 13 and LUTs 12a, 12b, and 12c; an image displayed on the display panel 11 is measured by a sensor 30 and is obtained display characteristics (gradation characteristics and chromaticity) are compared with preliminarily determined display characteristics; and the matrix 13 and the LUTs 12a, 12b, and 12c are set temporarily so as to cancel the difference, and then the LUTs 12a, 12b, and 12c are reset by the set information of the matrix 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
