<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a user to change settings more skillfully, regarding the display mode of a screen properly. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation apparatus displays a two-dimensional map 500 and a current position mark 510 on a display unit 20. When an instruction to change screen settings by a user is received, the navigation apparatus displays an operation menu 600, superimposed on the two-dimensional map 500. The operation menu 600 is provided with a transparent area 602, and the two-dimensional map 500 is displayed within the transparent area 602. When the operation menu 600 is displayed, the navigation apparatus displays the current position mark 510 and the two-dimensional map 500, in a gradually scrolling manner so that the current position mark 510 is included in the transparent area 602. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
