The method involves detecting that auxiliary frame (F2), a preamble (SP) and frame of the media access control (MAC) layer with to-be-transmitted data, includes the preamble of network nodes. The preambles are set depending on whether the preamble is emitted within main frame (F1) or in auxiliary frame at later time in super-frame cycle (SF). The preamble (LP) in the main frame is specified as main preamble, and the preamble in the auxiliary frame is specified as auxiliary preamble such that the length of the auxiliary preamble is different from the length of the main preamble. An independent claim is included for data network.
