PURPOSE: A vacuum evaporation type desalinating apparatus is provided to improve a heat transfer performance of each heat transfer pipe, thereby further improving the thermal efficiency of a heater. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum evaporation type desalinating apparatus (1) includes a main body (6) and a decompression unit (7). The main body comprises a sealed container body (2), a heater (3), a condenser (4), and a preheater (5). The heater has multiple heating pipes, and generates steam with heating raw seawater using heat from a heat source. The condenser has multiple heat transfer pipes, and generates fresh water with cooling the steam fed into the container body. The preheater has multiple transfer pipes, heats the part of cooling seawater from the condenser using the steam inside the container body, and feeds the cooling water as the raw seawater to the heater. The decompression unit maintains the container body to be in a decompressed condition.
