Electronic device for image installation

The device (1) has installation software for recording images (3-5) for a data processing device i.e. industrial personal computer (6), in a memory medium (2) of the electronic device in a recording mode. One of the recorded images is selected in an installation mode by an operator, and the selected image is transferred to the data processing device through an universal serial bus (USB) or external serial advanced technology attachment (eSATA) interfaces between the electronic device and the data processing device.
