<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell capable of reducing an installation area and enhancing the freedom of an installation place even when two or more unit cells are used. <P>SOLUTION: The solid oxide fuel cell is equipped with two or more unit cells 1 having a fuel electrode 12 and an air electrode 13 formed on each side of a sheet-shaped electrolyte 11; and a sheet-shaped conductive porous interconnector 3 for connecting two or more unit cells 1 in series, the two or more unit cells are stacked in the thickness direction of the electrolyte, the interconnector is interposed between the unit cells 1, the interconnector 3 makes possible inflow of gas from the periphery, is capable of supplying flowing-in gas to the fuel electrode 12 and the air electrode 13, and the peripheries of the unit cell 1 and the interconnector 3 are expose to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
