<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container with an appearance demonstrating fun created by a square spiral cylindrical body by shaping a barrel part of a direct blow molded article into an appearance of a square spiral cylindrical shape. <P>SOLUTION: In the direct blow molded article with a bottle shape and made of a synthetic resin, respective ridge lines 5 of the barrel part 3 are formed into the same spiral shape.
