A system is disclosed which is capable of processing a mixture of drilling fluid and solid material to separate at least one component from the mixture. The system comprises a hydrocyclone (10, Fig 2A) that is adapted to receive a drilling fluid mixture, said hydrocyclone comprises a housing 12c, an inner chamber 14c in said housing and an inlet 16c comprising an inlet flow channel. The inlet flow channel is adapted to allow a flow of said drilling fluid mixture into said inner chamber. An adjustment apparatus 50 adapted to adjust flow into the inner chamber is mounted adjacent the inlet and comprises a movable closure member 52. The movable closure member comprises a first movable wall 51 pivotably connected 54 to said housing and a selectively inflatable bladder 56 abutting said first movable wall and adapted to move the first movable wall.
