The ratchet arrangement has ratchet wheel (5) with tooth is rotatably and pivotally supported on base. A hand lever (2) includes latch mechanism comprising entrain and lock pawls that are coupled with tooth, and are rotated along the pawl axis (A2) in blocking surface at the front end of tooth. The lock pawl is spatially separated from the pawl axis in blocking surface comprising support surface for bearing a portion of base.
