CATRIDGE FOR SENSING ELEMENTS IN A SAMPLE

PURPOSE: A cartridge for a sensor for detecting one or more components in a sample is provided to enable quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis of one or more components by one-time injection of the sample and to be used in a biosensor for in situ detection. CONSTITUTION: A cartridge for a sensor for detecting one or more components in a sample is composed of a lower substrate, an upper substrate, and an adhesive layer between the upper and lower substrates. The cartridge comprises a microfluidic channel (5) which connects a sample inlet (1), a sample chamber (2), a detection unit, and a discard chamber (4) and is formed between the substrates and the adhesive layer. The lower substrate comprises: the sample inlet for injecting the sample; the sample chamber for temporarily storing the sample; the detection unit for detecting one or more components contained in the sample; the discard chamber for discarding the sample; an air pump chamber (6) which is connected with the sample chamber by an air channel (14); and a reagent pump chamber (7) which is connected with the microfluidic channel formed between the sample chamber and the detection unit by the reagent channel (15). The upper substrate comprises: a ventilation hole (8) which is placed on the discard chamber; a hole placed on the air pump chamber and the reagent pump chamber; and a reading unit which is placed at the upper portion of the detection unit and has a reading device.
