An apparatus for modeling a building by using an aerial image includes a wall image acquiring unit and a wall image processing unit. The wall image acquiring unit receives information of a 3-dimensional building model of the building through the aerial image, and acquires a wall texture image for a wall of each building by using the information on the 3-dimensional building model. The wall image processing unit receives the wall texture image from the wall image acquiring unit, sets a texel image in order to correct an occlusion region included in the wall texture image, and generates a final wall image by combining the texel image with an image of the occlusion region.
