A greenish effect improving apparatus for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to convert a video data driving order from RGB(Red, Green, and Blue) to GBR(Green, Blue, and Red) in consideration of visual characteristics of a human, thereby improving greenish effects caused by coupling of common voltage. In a color filter array, color filters are arranged in order of GBR. A timing controller(34) outputs video data RGB. An RGB/GBR converter(35) converts the video data RGB into GBR order, and transmits the converted video data to a data driving unit(31). The data driving unit receives the video data converted into the GBR by the RGB/GBR converter, and outputs corresponding gray voltage to a data line of an LCD panel(33). |
