ELECTROMAGNETIC SHIELDING DEVICE FOR ELECTRONIC TOLL COLLECTION SERVICE

PURPOSE: An electromagnetic wave shielding device in an electronic toll collection system is provided to almost completely shield external electromagnetic waves using an electromagnetic wave shielding panel, thereby preventing communications errors. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic wave shielding device includes an electromagnetic wave shielding panel (10). The electromagnetic wave shielding panel, which is installed at an access road (1), has a tunnel structure and encloses a gantry (2), and a conductive material coats the panel surface. The electromagnetic wave shielding panel includes a pair of parallel side panels (11) which is vertically installed at both sides of the access road, and a top panel (12) which shields the upper part of the access road by connecting to the top of side panels. The electromagnetic wave shielding panel includes metal adhesive tape (13) which is attached to both edges where the upper side of the side panels and the top panel meet.
