PURPOSE: A device for sensing liquid water level is provided to prevent a sensing device from being corroded by the liquid in a storage cistern, by maintaining sealing by covering a rod shape guide bar with a protection cover. CONSTITUTION: A device for sensing liquid water level comprises a flange (10), a guide bar (20), a protection cover (30) and a magnet (40). The flange penetrates through a hollow from the top to the bottom, and has a screw thread on a part of the outer surface to be combined to a handle or a cap. The top of the guide bar is inserted into the hollow of the flange, and a plurality of lead switches (21) is comprised in a fixed interval. The protection cover surrounds the guide bar, and protects the guide bar from the liquid in a storage cistern (1). The magnet ascends and descends along the guide bar by negative pressure and has a donut shape. The protection cover is formed with Teflon material.
