PURPOSE: A heating apparatus and a hot water apparatus are provided to efficiently use a heat source with a heat pump absorbing heat from atmosphere, thereby preventing the component of the heat pump from being deteriorated. CONSTITUTION: A heating apparatus includes a heat pump, a tank (30), a heat storage circulation path (34), a heating terminal (90), a heating circulation path (60), and a count unit. The heat pump absorbs heat from atmosphere, and heats a heat medium. The tank stores the heat medium. The heat storage circulation path circulates the heat medium between the heat pump and the tank. The heating terminal allows the heat medium to radiate the heat in order to implement a heating process. The heating circulation path circulates the heat medium between the tank and the heating terminal. The count unit counts the number of starting the heat pump.
