PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain predetermined performance of a softener in a washing machine.SOLUTION: The washing machine includes: a water tub 3 disposed in a main body and having therein a washing/dewatering water tub 4 which can dewater and rotate; a pulsator 5 rotatably disposed on a bottom face of the washing/dewatering water tub 4; a fluid balancer 20 disposed at the upper end part of the washing/dewatering water tub 4; a softener automatically outflowing device 21 disposed at the fluid balancer 20 and for outflowing a softener into the water tub 3 before starting a last rinsing process; a softener feeding opening 22 communicating with the softener automatically outflowing device 21; and balancer ribs 24 provided in the approximately upper part of the fluid balancer 20 and on a rotation center side of the washing/dewatering tub 4 of the softener feeding opening 22. Accordingly, the washing machine can prevent laundry from popping outside from the washing/dewatering tub and prevent washing water from scattering by the laundry to a softener automatically outflowing device side during feeding the washing water and from intruding into the softener automatically outflowing device through the softener feeding opening. |
