PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for acquisition of setting information of devices from an image processing apparatus to improve flexibility of the apparatus for acquiring the setting information therefrom.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus comprises: storage means which stores the set value of each setting item relating to the operation of the image processing apparatus; reception means which receives from another image processing apparatus an acquisition request of setting information including plural set values; update control means which issues a creation request of setting information when receiving the acquisition request from the reception means; setting information control means which, when receiving the creation request from the update control means, creates the setting information from each set value stored in the storage means, on the basis of list information representing the list of setting items included in the setting information; and transmission means which transmits to another image processing apparatus the setting information created by the setting information control means.
