PURPOSE: Aramid fiber and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase heat treatment efficiency by performing enough plasticizing operation of a polymer chain comprising filament and performing a thermal process by applying a plasticizer. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of aramid fiber includes the following steps of: manufacturing an aromatic poly amide polymer by polymerizing aromatic diamine and an aromatic family diacid halide; spinning the aromatic poly amide polymer after making the spinning dope; and heat-treating the filament gained by a spinning process. A thermal process includes a process for applying a plasticizer on the filament. In an applying process of the plasticizer, the plasticizer of 0.2 ~ 5 parts by weight is applied on the filament based on the 100 parts by weight. |
