PURPOSE: A chair assembly is provided to be able to easily and conveniently control the tilting intensity of the back panel by using a bevel gear and a secondary bevel gear, which makes the electricity of a spring easily transformed with a smaller force. CONSTITUTION: A chair assembly comprises a tilting intensity control unit. The tilting intensity control unit comprises a bevel gear (35) and a supporting member (34) of the bevel gear, a secondary bevel gear, a shaft, a tilting lever (20), and a supporting member. The bevel gear and the supporting member of the bevel gear are installed in a lower case (4). The secondary bevel gear is engaged in the bevel gear at right angle. The shaft is combined to rotate the secondary bevel gear, and protruded to one side. The tilting lever is combined to the end of the shaft. The supporting member is positioned in front of the bevel gear and engaged in a screw part of a bolt.
