PURPOSE: A tipping management server for providing a tipping service, an online tipping system using a mobile terminal, and a method for providing the tipping service to the tipping management server or a tipping application are provided to easily give and take small money, thereby easily applying an advanced culture to eastern cultures. CONSTITUTION: An online tipping system registers a recognition unit of a tip receiver in a financial institution or a tipping management server (ST-1). When a tipping payment request signal is received, the tipping management server confirms the payment account of the tip receiver by using the information for the tip receiver or the information for the recognition unit (ST-2,ST-3). The tipping management server processes payment in order to transfer the money corresponding to the money information included in the tipping payment request signal to the payment account through the payment unit which is selected by a client (ST-4).
