PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for opening inlets of bags are provided to release the attached state of inlets of bags by spraying gas to the inlets of the bags. CONSTITUTION: A method for opening inlets of bags is as follows: a step of arranging a pair of plate-shaped anti-falling members (21) in both sides of the inlets of the bags to face each other and spraying gas to the inlets of the bags with a gas spraying nozzle arranged opposite to the edge of the inlets of the bags in a longitudinal direction of the bags; and a step of adsorbing a pair of adsorption members to both sides of the bags, separating the pair of adsorption members from each other, and approaching a pair of grippers (3) to each other.
